ABOUT Natalia Jarząbek
Natalia Jarząbek plays the flute since the age of 12. She graduated with a great distinction from the Academy of Music in Kraków in the class of prof. Barbara Świątek – Żelazna. She also was a student of the Hochschule für Musik in Weimar (Germany) in the class of prof. Wally Hase (Erasmus+ Exchange).
She also graduated from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow with a master degree in mathematics.
Her abilities and artistic personality are highly regarded on nation-wide and international competitions, such as: The British Flute Society Competitions, The Dutch Flute Competition 2015, Stockholm International Music Competition and many others.
She received scholarship of Minister of Culture and National Heratige „Młoda Polska”, Minister of Science and Higher Education, The City of Cracow, 'Sapere Auso' Foundation, 'Talenty' Foundation, 'Pro Musica Bona' Foundation and many others in acknowledgment of her achievements.
In July 2015 she participated in the International Flute Seminar Bruges, where she received a special prize founded by Verne Q. Powell (sterling silver flute headjoint).
In 2015 Natalia recorded a solo piece on the CD of Grammy Award`s winner Włodek Pawlik. In 2017 she recorded a CD 900 MILES with Polish and Flemish pieces for flute and piano, released by the renowned Dutch Et`cetera label. This year she performed as a soloist with orchestras such as: Kalisz Philharmonic Orchestra, Concertino Chamber Orchestra, Cracow Chamber Orchestra. Natalia performed at the most prestigious flute festivals, such as: The British Flute Society Flutastique! Festival 2016, The Adams Flute Festival 2017.
In 2017 she got a prestigious prize Ars Quaerend of the Parliament of Lesser Poland to write a manual book about circular breathing and to rcord the next CD, inspired by this technique.
Natalia takes part in many masterclasses with renowned flautists. She cooperated with many orchestras and collaborated with famous musicians and conductors. Since 2010 Natalia has been a Pro Musica
Bona Foundation stipendist, thus she has had an opportunity to perform solo and as an orchestra musician. Thanks to the Foundation she has also participated in CD recordings.
As a soloist, she performed in France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Israel, The United Kingdom, Italy, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine, Slovakia and in many Polish concert halls.
