'Ein Feste Burg ist Unser Gott'/'A mighty Fortress is our God'

A meditation on Psalm 46 by Martin Luther, also known as the 'Battlehymn of the Reformation'.

Treated here as a fugal variation on the revered chorale melody by M.Luther... also, a modest attempt at polytonality (the fugue is swirling between C minor and C Major mostly, but the Chorale segments are in G Major), as a mean to symbolize the tragic instability of the world, in contrast with the powerful and eternal glory of God, our 'Mighty Fortress'...
