VOICE/ART SONGS IN ISOLATION

En La Luz

'En la Luz' is the latest collaboration between me as composer, and the highly talented, up and coming soprano from Puerto Rico, Shelzie RAMOS.

This new art song features lyrics from a poem by Juan Antonio Corretjer (March 3, 1908 – January 19, 1985), the great writer and poet from the Island of Puerto Rico.

These meditative poems are being set on music by me, in an evocative and enjoyable melodic and tonal manner, with a highly qualitative virtual acoustic orchestral backdrop - but all the are poems sung/interpreted by real human voices from a palette of international lyrical artists and instrumental soloists (recorded at home/studio seen the insulation measures in place worldwide due to the COVID-19 Pandemic).
