Souls yours and mine

In ev'ry name there lives a song
In ev'ry song is borne a name
Be it your title short or long
Never will others be the same

But we share in the same light
And we breath of the same air
A same soft skin holds us so tight
A gentle heart serves us so fair

To you whom God also did love
Clothed in beauty with no equal
I send out this pale white dove
Holding with her a precious petal

A flower of love so divine
A branched soul of age unknown
That it cannot be just mine
That it must now become your own

Within my soul lives melody
The sound of old woods chanting
A wail, a dance, a parody
A song of joy, of pride and blessing

But evils ancient and anew
Make it fall down in fear and pain
Bless it with light streaks so few
Leaving me down for dead and slain

Therefore I raise it up in shame
Burdened by sins now gone and past
Declaring you this broken flame
May it burn and forever last
