About the project

 

For more than 10 years, I've undertaken the inspiring and fulfilling task to adorn the magnificent Psalms of David with some new music, for liturgical or concert usage.

 

The settings vary according to the mood and thematic of the psalms, but the music I made is generally written for soloists, choir and orchestra. Their duration varies from 25 to 120 minutes, and their text is in French, Dutch, English or German.

 

So far, about 45 psalms have been completed, amongst which:

 

Psalms 23, 24, 33, 51, 66, 80, 98, 113, 123, 126, 137, 150 (dutch - 2004-2012)

Psalms 8, 98, 100, 114, 117, 128, 134, 146, 147 (french - 2004-2012)
